The
two Planning Advisory Committees are as follows:
Community
Advisory Team
This committee will act on behalf of the community
as the official forum to address community noise
concerns, review airport noise issues, provide
input on issue resolution, develop ideas and
recommend proposals for consideration in airport
noise plans, and enhance citizens' understanding
of airport noise management.
This committee is anticipated to comprise of
a minimum of 10 to 15 members, whom are appointed
by GIAA and PCR Environmental. Committee members
are required to participate in the resolution
of noise issues and regularly attend meetings.
Technical Advisory Group
The Technical Advisory Group will advise GIAA
and PCR Environmental on the technical issues
related to the Part 150 Noise Study. More specifically,
the committee will assist in the development
of the Noise Exposure Maps and the development
of airport and aircraft operational noise abatement
procedures.
This committee will comprise of approximately
10 individuals - involving representatives of
agencies and organizations with regulatory and
operating responsibilities tied to the airport
and other technical consultants.
