As
the region continues to grow, A.B. Won Pat Guam
International Airport will face increasing demands
both in terms of passenger traffic and cargo
handling. GIAA's objective is ensuring that
growth and expansion result in as minimal of
an impact to the surrounding community as is
reasonably possible.
With
this goal, GIAA is undertaking a FAR Part 150
Noise Exposure and Land Use Compatibility Study.
Known as a "Part 150 Study," this
effort will help the airport develop future
noise compatibility programs to address its
projected growth.
The
Part 150 study has an extensive public participation
process with committees of residents, airport
users, public officials, government agencies
and technical consultants. A variety of public
information materials are made available on
this website.
There
are several ways to get involved with the study.
