Environmental Training

PCR personnel has developed and conducted various 40-hour, 24-hour, 8-hour refresher, and Supervisor classes as required by OSHA for the U.S. Navy, Government of Guam, and commercial clients in Guam and Hawaii. Topics covered included: Hazard Recognition, Evaluation, and Control; Toxicology; Hazardous Waste Characteristics; Sources of Information; Federal Regulations and the Control of Toxic Substances; Personal Protective Equipment; Site Evaluations, Contamination Layout, and Safety Plans; Quality Assurance and Quality Control Programs; Field Survey Instrumentation; Emergency Response; and Worker and Community Right-to-Know.

HM126-F Hazardous Materials Training Classes

PCR has prepared and conducted training classes in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations for more then 175 hazardous materials workers in Guam and Saipan. Topics included: General Awareness and Familiarization Training; the Hazardous Materials Table; Shipping Papers; Labeling and Placarding; Packaging; Loading and Storage; Dealing with a Hazmat Emergency; Safety Training; and Drivers Training.
